How adorable! Guess they're taking you for a walk instead of the other way around. Try letting them push their cars up and down the driveway if you'll park the vehicle at the end to block entry to the street and watch them get tuckered out! Might want to put knee pads on though....

I hear ya on celebrations and special moments in the absence of family. It gets easier....we had his 1yr and his 2yr without fam. But, you build your own pseudo-fam out of the friends around you.
