The Play Cube

We got a play cube in the mail from Aunt Nina and Lily loved it right off the bat, Zane took some time to get to know the cube and then decided it was safe enough to play with...

L: "OH WOW! LOOK you can push this button!"
Z: "I don't trust the button"

L: "OH WOW! You can make the duck squeak when it sings Old McDonald!"
Z: "hmm, interesting"

L: "OH WOW! There's a spider inside the itsy bitsy spider singing side!!"
Z: "Don't worry I'll kill it with my bare hands!"

L: "OH WOW! And look there's a cell phone in here so we can call the doctor when the monkeys fall off the bed!"
Z:"I don't trust it, it could be a tracking device"

Z: "See, I can not reach "the doctor" on this thing"

Z: "Oh, ok, I give up, I guess it's ok, let's do the motions for itsy bitsy spider"

Z: "Thank you Aunt Nina for the playcube, I'm sorry I doubted your gift..."

Oh, wow, Val, you are always so creative with the babies' conversations. I have never seen a play cube, but it looks like great fun. I know Zane, the skeptic, will soon be as excited about playing with it as Lily, the fearless one. I love the blog and am always so excited when you put up new stuff. Love all 4 of you!

We have the same cube. The bad news for us is that Annabeth is terrified, and I mean TERRIFIED of the spider. If she sees said cube, she melts down. So, it has been hidden away at our house. I'm glad your kids love it.
