HAPPY 13 Months!

Today, to celebrate the babies 13 months of being alive, we ventured out to Pinecrest Gardens.  This city run free park has a splash pad that allows kids to cool off in the hot Miami heat.  We were a little nervous at first because they hadn't really been exposed to this sort of thing, or this many kids either.  They were also the youngest and shortest in the whole mess. But they did great and had a blast.  There were only a few instances that I felt I had to jump in a protect them, but that was because of the older kids running around like mad, knocking everything in their path.  The moms and dads of the younger kids were not happy about it, but we just had to keep a vigilant eye out for their rampage through the water.
Both Zane and Lily collapsed into their cribs this evening exhausted from running around.  Mom and dad are soon to follow.

Mom, are you sure?

This little girl thought that this red fire hydrant belonged to her and didn't want other people playing with it.
Then she specifically told Lily she could not play with her hydrant
Then she pushed this little boy out of the way and astounded Lily with her rudeness
So, Zane came over, reached up and tapped this girl in the face :)    The girl turned to her mom, started fake crying and said "he hit me! he hit me in the face! waaaaa".  Zane and Lily turned, ever so coy, as if saying..."oh, did something happen, huh, we didn't see anything...."

but it was enough to chase her away and allow the other kids to play.  Thanks for saving the day Zane.
um, hey, dude, um, you shouldn't drink that water man, that's kind of gross...
I can catch it!
