WHEW! Reseting babies schedules and unpacking sure do take up a lot of time in a week. The computer and I have not had a lot of opportunities to meet this week so posts have been non- existent.
I've taken some cute video of the babies but haven't had time to process them so look for them later this week.
In addition to getting the babies back on track after our vacation, we also had our 12 month checkup appointment. Babies got lots of shots including, MMR, chicken pox, pneu. conj., and TB tests. They also need a CBC and lead level check so I have to make an appointment at a lab to get that taken care of.
They had good stats and slowed down in weight during the past few months (probably due to walking/running everywhere!) so that's good news for mama's back. Here are their stats and their percentiles.
Zane: Height - 32'' (97%)
Weight - 23lbs 10oz (78%)
Head - 47.5 cm (89%)
Lily: Height - 30.5'' (97%)
Weight - 21lbs 2oz (70%)
Head - 46.5 cm (93%)
I hope all of you are having a great 4th of July weekend. In the meantime, enjoy some photos of some creatures in our backyard.
Now why in the world would I post these yucky pictures? Well, I'm a biological nerd.
I wake up each morning to see evidence of the "snail wars" fully displayed on our back glass door. Apparently snails fight a lot during the night.
This little baby froggy was hiding out on the glass door during one of the rain storms yesterday. It rains here every day and mama is getting very very sick of it.
A little baby anole. There are tons of these baby lizards around lately, some mama and daddy lizards have been very busy.
One of my snail friends, I guess he won the battle last night, I don't see any other snail around.
This is a shovel headed garden worm. They are carnivorous (like most things in south Florida, it's practically the amazon down here) and they eat snails. Therefore I do not like them. They can grow to 8 inches long and are just annoying little jerks.
