We're back from Paris. What a wonderful trip and I'm so glad I got to share it with Mr. Jason. The first few days were a bit wet and we feared it would rain all week, but then the skies cleared and we had the most beautiful weather you could ask for. Above are some pictures from the trip, however I must let you know that Picasa has shrunk all the image sizes down to just barely 1mb each. They are fuzzy and grainy. I'm trying to fix the problem.
The day/night we returned from our 11 hour plane flight we swanked it up at Neenee's birthday party! We fought our jet lag the best way we knew how, to party all night. We had so much fun and were so glad we could make it to such a fun affair. (yes that's me, the band started playing Freebird, what else was I supposed to do but interpretive dance?)
After dropping Mr. Jason off at the airport Sunday, I headed into downtown Houston to stay and play with little Miss Riley. I'm so thankful Kristin let me get my newborn fix and allowed me to take care of her little one for a few days. She is an adorable little girl with a happy mama.
(Zane is in his standard pose for group photos)
The kids have told me over and over how exciting Pop & Neenee's and Nana and Pawpaws house were. In fact, they keep telling me they don't want to be here at our house but would rather go back. The central driving force seems to be "ice keem!" Apparently, this is readily available in Richmond, Texas and the twins want more now. We are so thankful for everyone watching Lily & Zane while mommy and daddy got to take a fabulous vacation. Even through the jet lag, we came home rested and little bit more mentally stable. :)
Since returning from the trip, we have jumped back into the swing of everyday life here in Dallas. This week we went to the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden's. The weather has been so much cooler than before we left and we are taking full advantage of it. The date on the time stamp is obviously wrong, apparently mommy and Pawpaw accidently switched mini-cameras and I don't know how to work his. oops.

Thanks for sharing. I was never concerned about the twins having a blast in Houston, and the "ice keem" they had is no surprise. I'm sure they were well-loved, and now the grands can collapse for awhile.
The moth is spectacular. I've never seen one. What a catch!
The did have a blast in Houston. They won't stop talking about it!
The pictures are wonderful! Thank you for sharing them. I'm sure Laura had a wonderful time with Zane and Lily! Now, back to the real world.
