Haha, I'm dumping water on your head
The new (and improved, and not jerk of a) ENT called today to give the results of Zane's xray. The radiologist in fact diagnosed adenoid hypertrophy, meaning, the suckers are big and need to come out. While having his surgery to get his adenoids removed the doctor will also be putting in tubes to drain all the fluid out of his ears (it's still in there). I hate the fact he's going under the knife but I'm really excited that he will be able to hear and breathe without complications. The doctor agreed with me that there is no need to remove his tonsils. They aren't large and a tonsillectomy is more painful than an adenoidectomy. Zane's recovery time should be a couple of days, in which time he will get all the popsicles he can shove in his mouth. We're going to schedule the surgery for sometime after our trip to Houston (April 10-18th) so that he'll have plenty of time to recover.

The green part is going bye-bye

Thanks so much for the update on the adenoid situation. I'm so glad the tonsils can stay. I,too, wish it didn't have to be done, but know it will be beneficial in the long run. How's Dad taking it?
Hope you have a wonderful trip to Houston.Keep us posted on the surgery schedule. Sending love to all.
I'm happy to hear he'll be feeling better soon. Jacob just had his myringotomy on Tuesday. It went very well and he's doing so much better already. Zane will do wonderfully, we'll keep him in our prayers. I'll have cousin Jacob say a prayer too :)
