This is what Lily looked like when I picked her up from school today. Apparently she fell down doing an all out faceplant, and then another kid picked a fight with her, pushed her down and scratched up her face. The teacher felt horrible and said, "she had a rough day". In addition to her face scratches, she has a scratch on the other side of her neck where the jerkface kid grabbed her.

Wish we could protect them from all bumps and scratches, physical and emotional. Bless her heart! The teacher should have belt bad!
She did feel pretty bad. She was very sheepish approaching me to tell me about it. When I responded "these things happen" she looked so relieved. I guess she was afraid I was going to yell at her.
I agree, but that may be where her aggression is coming from and she's taking it out on Zane? Stuff happens, its never good or fun, but it's life. I hope Lilly bear is fine. Once I picked up Robert from daycare and he had scratches and bruises all over his neck and arm... from a TEACHER. She apparently had a bad day and lost it on my little guy. yeah..she didn't work there anymore after that and Robert didn't attend there anymore either. If you can't do your job watching the care and well-being of the precious children you are being paid to watch...get a new profession. Oooo, don't get me started on daycare. I knew I couldn't do it, and I didn't.
