Lily goes to Mother's day out from 9-2 on Wednesdays and Thursdays and Zane just goes on Wednesdays. This allows mom to get some stuff done (grocery shopping, landscaping, mental health exercises) without the kids on Wednesdays and allows me to take Zane to speech therapy on Thursdays.
Ok, if you don't know by now, Lily doesn't exactly enjoy being away from me, nor does she really like other people around her. It's just her nature and she's been that way since the day she was born. Ask ANYONE who has been around her from 1 month to present. She just takes a while to warm up.
Today was the last day of school for the kids. The nice teachers put together a little photo album of pictures of the kids for us. It was very sweet of them to do but I when I looked at Lily's I didn't know whether to cry or laugh my butt off.
When I drop Lily (and Zane for that matter) off in the morning, it's never very pleasant. Screaming/crying all that fun stuff that kids do to make mama feel terrible. When I pick them up, I'm always given some comment like "they did..um..."ok" today".
Below are a few pictures from the photobook. I had to take pictures of the pictures because my scanner is not hooked up.
Try not to laugh as loud as I did.
Her cubbie picture
Zane is a big boy people. Zane and Lily are the youngest kids in their class, by 3 months. The other boys in this picture are almost 2 and a half.
