We've had quite a week here, as evident from the lack of posts.
Long gone are the days of my sweet, quiet, passive little girl. She has now transformed into a full fledged "terrible two" year old. The past week or so has been quite challenging for me here because she seems to be running the house hold.
She's biting again...and biting with a vengence.
Exhibit A: Zane's back
In addition to these on his back he has two on his arm as well.
Exhibit B: Her temper
Exhibit C: Her general need to do things she's not supposed to be doing
"Lily is that your drawer"
"nooooooooo..."
and finally Exhibit D: The mayhem that is my house since the windchill is putting it in the upper 30s and 40s lately. Tomorrow Saturday, the high is supposed to be 59 degrees so hopefully we can get outside! (just saw it's going to rain all day tomorrow)
* A note. Pre-children I swore that my house would NEVER look like a daycare. Enter reality. During the day when they are running about, what's the point. We pick up the mess at the end of the day, but during the day since we can't be outside, why not. (the stuff is in front of the fireplace because Lily wants to climb into it lately).
So in summary, Lily is challenging her boundaries and doing what she is supposed to be doing...being a toddler. Unfortunately Zane and I are at the mercy of her attitude, but we know it will pass.
Either that or I'm going to give up on "time outs" and her rear end is going to be so red she won't be able to sit for week.
In other news, here are some pictures
just kidding folks, it's only Strawberry

Sleep test? Oh, boy, sounds as if you're really having fun (lol). As you said, "This, too, shall pass," but sometimes it feels like "long time passing."
