Today after a not so fun trip to the doctors office for her 2 year checkup, Lily and I went on a fun date together to the zoo. Zane went to school today and tomorrow the reverse will happen. Lily is weighing in at 27.2 pounds and is 35 inches tall. Old folklore says to double their height when they are two and that will be their final height as an adult. But, I really don't think Lily will be 5'10". Unless she got all the tall genes that are buried in our family (uh hem cousin Michelle).
We had a great time and it was so fun to see what life is like with only one child. OH MY GOSH, it was so easy. Totally jealous of you singleton mommies out there now.
On the way to the zoo with a sticky sugary sucker that made up for the boo-boo on her leg (HepA vaccine today)
-I told her she could ride alone if she wanted to and mommy would ride in a different train car. The independent Lily said yes, but the eyes said no.
-You can just see her attitude as she walks!
She kept laughing at this poor froggie because he couldn't get out of his cage. So mean.
