did you miss my children? I know I did.
Our whirlwind week has finally come to a close. We celebrated Thanksgiving with Nana and Pawpaw, NeeNee and Pop, and some of our friends in Dallas. We also looked at about 40 houses in 2 days and finally settled upon one that we liked. We are still in the option phase and are getting the foundation checked out by a structural engineer on Monday. Home buying is not my favorite thing to do, lots of hurry up and wait.
Jason and I got to be all alone in Dallas together while we searched for our new home and it felt fantastically weird. I had completely forgot what it was like to wake up with no obligations. In our hotel room, we ate breakfast in bed, drank coffee and watched a movie. All you guys out there without kids...there are some moments I have to admit jealousy. I do love laying around and doing nothing :)
We got to see snow in Dallas, snow in Houston and then returned back to Miami for 85 degree weather. My sinuses are very confused.
Below are a few pictures and video of things you've missed. Hope your Thanksgiving went well and remember, only 20 shopping days left until Christmas...shiver...
Playing at NeeNee and Pops
Here's a video shot at Nana and Pawpaw's house, it's so nice to see them actually liking each other. It happens only on rare occasions but I hope to see more in the future.
Zane is obsessed with the rock/party-remix of the Bob the Builder theme song. He watches it at least 10 times a day. He wants to see it over and over and over. I think this clip shows how he will naturally grow into a band groupie. He already has the squeals down pat.
He starts rockin' at 0:40 and at around 1:12 he makes a "whchoooo" sound up to the key change which tells you how many times he's watched this...
