Today we went to the Coral Gables Christmas Thingy. They've blocked off a section of downtown and put all sorts of Christmas things up for the kids, including the Miami version of snow...sand.
We weren't there for too long because, as in typical Miami tradition, it started raining.
Dad: "Zane, are you sure you got this slide? It's pretty steep"
"Weeeeeee!"
"Splat!"
Mom: "Lily do you want mommy to take you down the slide?"
Lily: "no."
"I prefer daddy"
Lily: "Mom...it's 84 degrees, why is that kid wearing a sweater with long sleeves and boots"
Mom: "Because some people just have to get a Santa picture honey"
"mmmmmm sand grains"
"ok daddy. Let's go, there's a fat dude over there in a red suit yelling no no no at those kids"

As usual, your pictures and narrative evoked joy, with smiles and giggles. What a wonderful picture of Jason & Lily. The terrified look on Zane's face as he went down the slide was caught at just tha right time. All in all wonderful! Thanks for sharing your Funday Sunday.
