Toddlers don't know how to share. It's not in their nature to share. Let's look at an example:
Lily has taken Zane's drink
And shows off her skills at having both to herself
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO...MINE!!!!!!
WHY!!!!!
Gimme back!
No! Give it! NO! GIVE IT!
Zane wins, Lily walks off disappointed...
SO...most of the time I just let them fight it out for themselves, probably not the ''right'' way to handle it but I kind of like watching Baby Battles...

Oh,my,they are maturing so rapidly. I don't know about the rules for mediating sibling battles, however, I think your way of letting them work it out (when possible) is a really good way to do it. Love you all! What are you doing for Daddy's b'day?
