Pretty snow

What wonderful snow we are having, I love it because it looks so neat and clean. I just don't to think about the sloppy nasty muddy mess that will occur in a few days.
Tonight was the "Daddy Daughter Dance" up at Compass Preschool (where Z&L go to school). Lily got all dolled up in a pretty dress that she must have twirled in a million times. Daddy and Lily danced the night away and came in way past curfew. But it was ok, because Zane and I made excellent use of our vegging on the couch and snuggling to keep warm. I forgot what it's like to not move for a full hour. Is that what having only one child is like?

Wait, we live in Dallas right?

Lily loved the snow!

Until it touched her.

Zane still working on his swing, if only I could get him to switch his grip!

He just wouldn't do a snow angel.

Lily all dressed up.

And practicing her "I don't hear you" maneuver.

Dad said he was a little nervous, he hadn't been on a first date in a long time.

So they broke the ice by playing some PS3.

Pretty snow! Rare for you guys ... usual for us. Glad the envelope arrived, just a fun, lovey thing. Daddy/daughter dance at 2 1/2? I AM getting old. She looks beautiful and Daddy does look nervous. Fun snuggle time with Zane, and yes, one at a time is a bit calmer.
